Tips for Healthy Lips
- Always apply a sunscreen to your lips with a minimum of SPF 15.
- Massaging lips with ghee (clarified butter) and leaving a thin layer of it on lips overnight acts as a natural protection for bright lips.
- Repeatedly apply herbal moisturizing lotion on lips.
- Don’t lick your lips because the saliva can dry out your lips and make them dry. Instead apply a Lip Balm. I like to keep one next too my bed so that every night before I go to sleep I can apply some to my lips to keep them from drying out in the night.
- Dip a black tea bag in warm water and press it on lips for three to four minutes. This increases moisture level on skin of lips.
- Do not lick lips repeatedly.
- Dip small cotton gauze in warm clarified butter (ghee) and place it on lips for 20 minutes.
- Remove your lipstick before going to bed using a herbal cleanser and apply a thin layer of ghee on lips.
- If want really moist lips apply honey on them and rub it and rinse it off. Honey is a natural moisturizer. Lemon is also used to lighten dark spots on the lips.
- When you wash your face at night don’t forget to use your scrub and exfoliate your lips or you can use a little sugar and warm water.

Crush four, five petals of red rose and coat the paste on the lips. Apart from instant reddening, it will also give smoothness to the lips. Mix it thoroughly and apply it on the lips for twenty minutes and then wash it off. You will be left with soft and supple lips.
