    Alicia Keys Diet:

Alicia Key’s diet is basically based on a healthy diet called the 5-factor diet.  The plan is said to give you results in just 5 weeks, by eating five 5-factor meals per day that uses only five ingredients and takes only five minutes to prepare. Talk about a lot of fives, huh? The diet is said to be more effective when workout is done for shorter periods of time rather than spending hours at the gym.

Alicia says that she likes to eat foods that make her feel good afterward. This healthy attitude means she chooses healthier foods like almond milk, grilled fish, and spinach. She also has the habit of putting aloe vera in her juices.

Alicia decided to switch on a new eating program called the Food Combining Diet. This particular food regimen is a very healthy and helpful diet and one of the most used diets not only by other celebrities also by other dieters around the globe who wants to looks sexy and have a healthier body condition. Alicia Keys avoids red meat and milk. She sticks with salads and healthy choices.

    Alicia Keys’ Healthy Diet Plan:

    Breakfast:

5 egg whites and 1½ cups fruit salad

    Lunch:

2 cups of vegetable soup; large salad with ¾ cup chickpeas, ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes, ½ avocado and 3 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing

    Dinner:

3 cups vegetables grilled with olive oil, 1½ cups brown rice

Alicia’s diet adds up to 1 450 calories, 46g of fat, 219g of carbohydrates, 57g protein and 63g of sugar.

    Alicia Keys Workout:

The Grammy-winning singer and songwriter knows that being healthy does not mean having to slim down to a size 0. She loves her curves and loves jogging too. Alicia Keys goes to celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, author of 5-Factor Fitness, to get in top shape. Pasternak shared this workout tip so you can get the most from your workout.

Along with her weight loss food plan, Alicia Keys also works out to help her lose weight faster. She hired her own personal fitness instructor to guide her with exercises. They concentrates mostly on her abdominal and thighs. They also do some body improvement activities such as cardio and toning workouts. She visits the gym for four to five times per week with the help of her physical instructor to make sure that she is doing the right movements.

Her fitness instructor also advised her to do toning and unilateral strength training using dumbbells. Exercises like this greatly benefits the heart, which at the same time, has to keep pumping during the workout session, burning a lot of extra calories.

To make her workouts fly by, Alicia Keys listens to good music. She likes a variety in the workout music just like her exercise, and listens to things like MGMT, Biggie, Jay-Z, Bob Sinclair and Roy Ayers.

Alicia Key’s exercise regimen also includes biking, swimming, rowing, and running especially during warm weathers.

“I’m not ashamed of what I am and that I have curves and that I’m thick, I like my body.”
“I like when it’s warm, if I can just hit a city block or hit a block, it gives me something to really concentrate on. And it’s time alone, so I really like that a lot,” she says.
“I really enjoy actually training. I like the focus of it, I like the mental side of it and I like running. I like when it’s warm, if I can just hit a city block or hit a block, it gives me something to really concentrate on. And it’s time alone, so I really like that a lot.”
Alicia on the “Size Zero” Mentality “I think that’s total trash. I think that a woman is so much her curves and her many styles. We come in all packages and we are who we are and I definitely don’t like it when young girls feel like they have to totally starve themselves. I think it’s not attractive either, actually. Definitely not healthy.”
